The Extraordinary General Assembly of 14 July 2004, the articles of association of the CPS were approved in accordance with the new law on non-profit organizations. The administrative headquarters were also moved from Leuven to Ghent. Each year, any changes relating to the composition of the board of directors are published in the articles of association.
Over the years, the objectives of the CPS have been extended to the entire security sector. At the extraordinary general meeting of 24/11/2014, it was decided to change the name into “Centre for Policing and Security – CPS”. This change of name and broadening of objectives (and the accompanying amendment of the articles of association) was unanimously approved by the members on 24/11/2014.
The articles of association are only available in Dutch language.
